Have not been blogging for the past few months...

Since i enlisted, there is nothing much to talk about....

Because everyday it's the same stuff over and over again...

But now i have one thing i wanna say,

Which is....

POP LO!!

I have lots to say,

Which i think i will be writing a long long essay...

I think i will start with the drill squad...

Drill squad people are chosen by calling up people who were in uniform group before...

And so i was also included inside...

when the 1st time we were called up, there was around 49men...

And later on, training begin to start...

We began to do the basic drills during our free time.. (called by the platoon sergeant)
Lots of people started to get sick of draining their own free time for the practice...

After that the training stopped as more high key events are coming up...

And after those events are over, the training started again...

This time round, people start to disappear....

When the drill squad were told to fall in, people pretend that they are not from drill squad...

They just sit inside the platoon and keep quiet...

Well, though i don't like to burn my admin time, i did not back out of the training...

Things got more interesting when they started teaching on the fancy drills....

We did the wave once and find that the effect was pretty good...

Though there are a series of moves involve, we get the hang of it in a while...

We were called out during our free time to train quite often and we were all getting tired of it...

And just one weekend before the competition, the platoon sergeant got pissed off and walk away suddenly...

He called us later on and talk to us for awhile, saying that we are one of the worst batch...

since all were thinking of going back to rest than practice as the competition is drawing near...

He say to just give in our best and try it out... To see if got a chance...

On the actual day, the drills was finally pieces together and we learn on the spot...

So many parts we were not really clear...

And during the actually thing, we did messed it up...

Basic drills are not as good, so what we can do is depends on our fancy drills....

Together with zulu and yankee, we compete on the same place in rocky hill(our camp)

Zulu drills was so so, but yankee was really good...

When it came to fancy drills, they really beat us to it...

Lots of nice moves came out and all... But something bad happened...

During a rifle exchanging move(by throwing), someone dropped the rifle...

But all others were really nice....

So we feel that we don't stand a chance... (but we were glad .. lol)

And a few days later, we were told that we have good news...

That our drill squad got into top 3!!

We were happy and sad at the same time as that will be means more training...

And also, the School Sergeant Major (SSM) personally email our Company Sergeant Major(CSM)

That he wanted our drill squad to perform on our graduation parade(GP)...

We were really shocked, and at the same time mentally prepared to do more training...

During the training, the platoon sergeant knocked us down,

saying that we are treating the training like nothing... and he told us off...

I think that knock in some sense in most of the people, and they started training hard....

New moves added in here and then.... and soon we went for the finally competition for the championship...

The championship battle is between us, dragon and eagle....

We started on our competition right after our GPR( Graduation Parade Rehearsal)

and when we are about to start our fancy drills, it started to rain....

During our fancy drills , we could hear lots of cheering and clapping for us....

even so, the rain got heavier and heavier...

What's lucky is that we manage to complete it before the freaking heavy downpour...

And when we got back to where our company are, we were welcome by applause and screaming!

That feeling is like returning back home after a winning war, to be cheered on by so many people..

results were out on monday at the CO parade, that Quebec once again for a champion for Drill squad!!

Hard work paid off, yet another things that really feels good...

i'll leave the rest for tomorrow...

Got really tired after the GP today...

1st book out!!!!!!!!!

Been there for only 6 days and i feel like i have been through for like few months already...

And i forgot to mention, i am in quebec company...

Location in rocky hill camp (middle of tekong)

So can you imagine the life i am spending in there?

1st day, though there is no physical training required

It's one of the worst day ever... lol

Was to collect the thing needed in the army...

We have one big big black bag(looks like luggage case) with wheels

One big green bag...

One big plastic back with shoes inside...

After checking all the stuff one by one inside the bag...

We are to put them back inside..

And gosh, after taking them out i cant put them all back in !!

And i only can try to put them back in...

After which we go back to out own place...

Bring up everything which is at level 4!!

Gosh damn tiring...

After that went to cut hair, do admin stuff etc...

After that finish at around 9+...

Went bath.. and there got door!! haha..

Good good... lol

2nd day is the start of hell...

5bx in the morning like 5.45

most of us cant really take it...

because they hold their count too much...

then after that got lecture...

Cant really remember do what...

But it's a long day...

Oh, and lights out was at 2130..

which is damn early...

The next day..

was told to wake up by sergeant at 4am...

and fall in wearing long 4...

So rush all the way down after changing...

march all the way down to the camp below(which is like 3km?)

and get our rifle...

march til blister sia...

Then learn more about rifle stuff that day...

No pt that day.. but still damn tired...

Next day got CPT..

Tiring sia! Never had i been so worked out before...

Like whole body no strength but still struggling...

guess that's fierce training...

Next day was also another tiring day...

Ran some place...

And they actually have some warm up run before actually starting...

one round of a place ( which 2.5 round = 2.4km lazy to count...)

after that ran the 15mins in a platoon ( and i actually didn't stop)

and after that still got jog back to the place( like one round =x)

Tiring sia... was wet all the way... just like raining...

The next day is IPPT...

Well, i only pass sit up =x...

And 2.4, ran in the rain!!!

Really is my 1st time sia...

After that evening book out lo!!!

One last post before i go off...

TOday is enlistment day...
guess after today things will be different...

Happening day!!
Met up with ks, mel, viv, ps, sky yesterday...
You can say it's my farewell party
Went steamboat bugis....
I think the one we went into was tian tian ??
Wasnt so great, food alright only...
we ate from 6+ to 9+!! Long right??
We have battle with the bbq stove,
the bbq metal plate just dont seems to heat up just as much..
So it actually spoil the mood for bbq-ing...

After that went to iluma to walk around...
We were gonna watch movie marathon!!
Was planning to catch proposal there, but don't have....
After checking. we find that there is no places showing that...
So we decide to change our movie to final destination...
Another that i wanted to watch was Alien in the attic...
Because i find it a very interesting show....
And so we decided, we will be watching Final destination 4 and Alien in the attic...

We walked from bugis to city hall...
Helps in digestion?? lol
Train down to cineleisure to watch...
We watched the 12am show....

Went to level 9 (tooks us a long time to get up, too many people)
And bought the tickets there....
And i was quite surprised that L4D is sooooo IN now...
Almost 90% of the people playing lan there is playing that game...
Rot til 12am then went watch the movie...

The movie was boring~
Kinda about to expect most of the things...
And lots of part are not logical...
So basically, the show wasn't really good...
Not worth the money...

And after that, we bought tickets for 'Alien'
Show was at 3...
So we went down to youth park to waste our time to 2+ before going back...
Now that movie is much more better the FD4...
It's really entertaining... Funny + action
Made me don't feel like slping after watching that...
I would recommend anyone who wanted a gd laugh to watch it !!
4 stars!!

After that we walked to lucky plaza's mac to spend out time...
Along the way, it's a quiet street of orchard road...
Now you don't get to see this everyday do you?
Well, that's my 1st time... lol...
So chat til around 6+ am before some of us went to order breakfast....
So another day had passed...
And that also means the nearer the day i am going off....
Enjoying the moment now...
